Kaléo was a fabulous experience for our daughter. She was ready for adventure, and that's exactly what she got. She had many new experiences and grew in confidence and courage. As a homeschool grad, we were uncertain about the academics, but she enjoyed her classes immensely and met the challenges head-on. The leadership team served willingly with love and care. The class became close-knit, and wonderful friendships formed. We saw the hand of God at work all through the year, both in our daughter and in everything that took place. The year was life-changing on so many levels. We're so thankful for it all!

Kaléo was a gift to our family. The program was a perfect mix of adventure, mentorship, servant leadership, and spiritual growth. We were blown away by the leaders and how much they loved and cared for each one individually. They truly KNEW our kids and loved our kids. Our kids came home different, in the most wonderful way. They love the Lord in a deeper way. They made lifelong friendships. They have a heart for people and serving others. What a gift. Thank you Kaléo and leadership team. Forever grateful

No words can say how wonderful it was celebrating our son and his graduation from the Kaléo leadership and biblical training program. The staff and leadership poured into these young people and built relationships that will forever be a part of who they are. So often, we think our plans are best for our kids, but God’s plans are always much better. We have witnessed this with our son and his roommates when hearing the stories of their year of growth, struggles, and victories. Living together in such close quarters for 8 months leaves you vulnerable for your roommates to see the real you! They have all made an unbreakable bond in Christ! Camp Qwanoes is a beautiful and special place, and parents, we would highly recommend it to your young teen/adult! They will forever be changed!

I can't say enough good things about the Kaléo program! Our son had the time of his life during these 8 months. The adventure component was the initial drawing card, and although those new experiences were highlights, all 5 pillars of the program have been developed so well, and brought forth growth and change for him. The biblical knowledge and theological viewpoints have made for good discussion at home and elsewhere. The friendships made from across the country have been life-giving. The leadership skills have been valuable in many different contexts, including serving in church and other ministries. I've heard people comment to programs like this as a waste of time and money. I would say the complete opposite... What our son experienced during his Kaléo year, living in community and his growth in deeper intimacy with our Lord, was the best investment and so foundational for his future!
