Program History

For over 20 years, young leaders have sought to grow in their education and leadership development, all while finding a close-knit community that experiences outdoor adventures together! In partnership with Briercrest, the Kaléo Program was born in 2003 to equip new leaders as a gap-year
program to be a foundational year of growth.

Alumni from Coast-to-Coast

Exactly 559 students have been part of the Kaléo Program since it began in 2003/04. Each point on the map highlights one or more students who stepped into this journey of discipleship, adventure, and growth. Now, as we gear up for our 24th year (2026/27), we look back with gratitude and ahead with anticipation for all God will continue to do.
